LinkedIn may be built for humblebragging, but in a startup it is also useful to show what is actually happening behind the scenes. Here is a short Q1 update from Estatelab, with our feet reasonably firmly on the ground.
A quarter with clearer direction
Following an orderly turnaround before Christmas, we entered 2026 with tighter working practices, a clearer market focus and a more concrete partner strategy. The first quarter brought stronger growth, more followers and new conversations with property businesses looking for better structure.
The numbers alone are not the main point. What matters is that more people in the industry are discussing the same challenges: manual processes, scattered information, unreliable data and too much reporting that starts from the wrong Excel file.
The market has picked up a little
Commercial property is gradually moving from instinct to metrics. More businesses want to understand their portfolios, follow up on leases systematically and use financial data before problems become expensive.
That suits us well. Estatelab is built to bring leases, finances and follow-up together in a way that makes everyday work a little less manual. It really is as straightforward as that.
Product, partners and AI
We have also used the quarter to strengthen development capacity and work more concretely on AI expertise. For us, AI is not about sprinkling glitter over the product. It is about better analysis, better alerts and less manual work for people actually managing property operations.
We have also had productive meetings with partners and customers in Bergen and at industry events. Direct market feedback remains the best product workshop we know.
In summary
- We are seeing increased interest in structured property data and better portfolio control.
- Partnership work brings more momentum and more practical use cases.
- AI only becomes useful when it solves specific problems in the workflow.
- Q1 gave us the energy to keep building, with a little less noise and a little more direction.
So yes, a little humblebragging. But above all: thank you to every customer, partner and curious industry professional who has offered honest questions, useful input and just the right amount of pressure.
