Privacy policy for Estatelab PM AS. This policy was written on 1 July 2024 and explains how Estatelab PM AS (organisation number 928 078 396) collects and uses personal data.

Estatelab PM AS, represented by its managing director, is the data controller for the company's processing of personal data. This policy explains which personal data we process, how we process it and for what purposes.

This policy contains information you are entitled to receive when data is collected through the website, when you are a customer or apply for a job with us, as well as general information about the collection, storage and use of personal data (section 18, first paragraph, of the Norwegian Personal Data Act).

Processing of personal data at www.estatelab.no

Unless stated otherwise below, Estatelab PM AS's managing director is responsible for the day-to-day processing of personal data on our website. Providing personal data in connection with services, such as sending us enquiries, is voluntary. The legal basis is the individual's consent, unless otherwise specified.

Estatelab PM AS collects de-identified and anonymised information about visitors to www.estatelab.no. The purpose is to compile statistics used to improve and develop the website's content. Examples include how visitors use the website, which website they came from, how many people visit each page, how long visits last, what visitors click and which browsers they use.

The information is processed in de-identified, aggregated form. De-identified means that we cannot trace the information collected back to an individual user. Aggregated means that all data is combined into a group rather than processed individually. Estatelab PM AS uses Google Inc.'s analytics tools on its website, and the information is stored by Google. Information from this tool is not shared with other parties.

What is a cookie? Cookies are small text files stored on your computer, phone or tablet when you visit a website. They help the website remember your settings, such as username, language, text size and other preferences, for a period of time. Cookies are also used to improve functionality and collect information for analytics or marketing purposes.

How do we use cookies?

We use cookies to understand how the website is used. We do this through Google Analytics, Google's web analytics tool. Information is stored on servers in the USA. Cookies collect information about pages visited, visit duration, number of visits and the source of the visit, such as Google Search. We also use cookies to examine behaviour such as link clicks or contact-form submissions.

Your IP address is anonymised before being sent to Google Analytics, and the information sent does not contain data that can identify you as a user. We therefore cannot trace actions to individual users, but can analyse use of the website at an aggregate level.

Our website uses cookies to collect information for subsequent advertising (remarketing). An anonymised identity is stored in lists used for targeted advertising based on your online behaviour. As well as being anonymised (de-identified), the lists must contain a certain number of users before they can be used.

Use of the Facebook pixel: tracking on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, Instant Articles and Audience Network.

Facebook owns Instagram, Messenger, Instant Articles and Audience Network, so use of the Facebook pixel also covers these channels. A Facebook pixel is a plug-in or software on our website that collects information for Facebook. The pixel collects information from cookies in your browser and sends it to Facebook, where it is combined with data from your Facebook profile. Information collected may relate to your behaviour, demographic data such as age, gender and interests, or actions such as clicking links. The information is only available at an anonymised, aggregate level. It is used for analysis, targeted advertising based on your behaviour (remarketing), and identifying advertising audiences with a profile similar to yours who may have similar behaviour or needs.

Information collected through the Facebook pixel is stored for between 90 days and two years on Facebook servers in the USA. When Facebook is used for advertising, Facebook will be the data controller in most cases. There are, however, some exceptions:

Use of Facebook Lead Ads, a tool for collecting email addresses through Facebook pages, for which both Facebook and Vekstloop AS will be data controllers. If Estatelab PM AS starts using this tool, information about users' rights will be clearly stated in the ad where users voluntarily submit their personal data.

Uploading existing email lists for targeted advertising on Facebook. If Estatelab PM AS uses this tool, it will only target prospective customers who have voluntarily consented to it.

Use of contact forms on our website

When you use the contact form on our website, we ask for your name, email address, company, telephone number and the subject of your enquiry.

The purpose of collecting and storing information is to respond to and discuss your enquiry. The information is stored in Google Sheets on a dedicated server accessible only to Estatelab PM AS employees and associated data processors. The information is retained for as long as we consider appropriate.

Webflow — Information collected through use of the website is stored at webflow.com.

Zapier — Estatelab PM AS uses Zapier to send data between services. For example, if you submit a form enquiry, we pass the information you provide to other support systems used to deliver the service effectively.

Hotjar — Estatelab PM AS uses the Hotjar analytics tool to analyse user behaviour on its website. The tool is used to improve usability. Information collected includes movements, clicks and general behaviour on the website. It is collected on the basis of your IP address, which is anonymised, and information is shown only at an aggregate level. Data is stored for a maximum of 365 days.

Intercom — Estatelab PM AS uses Intercom to chat with customers. The service is linked to Slack's own terms.

Dashthis — Estatelab PM AS uses Dashthis to report aggregated data. The collected data comes from other third-party providers mentioned in this privacy policy.

Email, telephone and chat — Estatelab PM AS uses email, telephone and chat in its day-to-day work to communicate with and respond to enquiries from prospective, current and former customers, as well as other partners.

Each employee is responsible for deleting messages that are no longer relevant and must review and delete unnecessary mailbox content at least once a year. When an employee leaves, their email account is deleted. Relevant emails will normally be transferred to colleagues.

Sensitive personal data must not be sent by email. Please note that ordinary email is not encrypted. We therefore encourage you to exercise caution and not send information subject to confidentiality, sensitive data or confidential details by email.

You have the right to access your personal data and information about how it is processed. You also have the right to have data corrected or deleted, or to restrict its processing, in accordance with the Norwegian Personal Data Act.

The processing of personal data is based on consent, which you may withdraw at any time. If you believe that Estatelab PM AS has not respected your rights under the Norwegian Personal Data Act, you have the right to complain to the relevant supervisory authority.
